Located in the state of Arizona and a city in Maricopa County. Goodyear is a suburb of Phoenix and has been regarded as the third-fastest city in Arizona with an estimated population of more than 72,000. Goodyear has been the home of the Goodyear Ballpark, where the Cincinnati Reds and the Cleveland Indians of the Major League Baseball hold its spring training. The city was also recognized in 2008 and won the All-America City Award, which was sponsored by the National Civic League. The city was named after the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company who has built extensive farmland in the city to grow cotton for use in their tires.
