Prescott Valley is a town that is located in the state of Arizona and is in Yavapai County and is in the eastern part of Prescott, which has surpassed its growth over the years. Prescott Valley is among the fastest-growing places among all the other cities and towns within the state of California. The Fitzmaurice Ruins that sit in Prescott Valley have been attracting visitors and have contained artifacts that show the early inhabitants from the early Mountain Patayan people who have been inhabiting the area for about 1,400 years ago. Gold was discovered by the Walker Party in 1863 along Lynx Creek. The Lynx Creek placers then went on to produce a recorded 29,000 troy ounces of gold that were found therein. The area was formerly known as the Lonesome Valley has been settled by the ranchers to raise beef that will be supplied to the miners and the new settlers in the 1880s.
