Aliso Viejo is located in the state of California and a city in San Joaquin Hills that is in the southern part of Orange County. The community of Aliso Viejo has originally 6,600 acres and was once part of the 26,000 acres of the ranch owned by the Moulton family, who took the title in the area in the 1890s to the land which was initially granted to Juan Avila in 1842 by the Mexican government. Aliso Viejo was considered as the first planned community in the state of California that will balance the projected resident workforce and the projected jobs that are within the borders. The city’s Pacific Park was centrally located in a 900-acre business park and town center that was expected to provide more than 22,000 jobs.
