Located in the northeast part of Los Angeles' downtown area and was set at the base of the towering San Gabriel Mountains and has been best known for its Tournament of Roses Parade and the Rose Bowl football match. Pasadena is also a center of scientific research and light manufacturing with the presence of Caltech University.
