Pomona is located in the middle of the Inland Empire and the San Gabriel Valley, and it is a city in Los Angeles County. The town was named after the Roman goddess of fruit that grows on trees and was first founded in 1875, it was cultivated and has been promoted as an agricultural and ranching center. An increased number in terms of growth and has been paralleled with the expansion of the metropolitan area of the city of Los Angeles in the early 20th century. And by the start of the 21st century, Pomona has already developed a diversified and vibrant economy with products that range from software, glass, cosmetics, optics, and paper goods. Phillips Ranch, the city's newest neighborhood, is the city's prime residential location as growth with homes that stood and being built in the hilly area.
