Rialto is located in the state of California and a city in San Bernardino County. Rialto is also known as the "Bridge City" as it features a somewhat more refreshing version of what a Mediterranean climate, where it has been known for it's wet, cold to chilly weather with dry, hot summers. A railroad connector line that was established to connect San Bernardino and Pasadena by the Santa Fe Railroad. Along the path that was built, the townsites were located every 2,600 yards, and by the fall of 1887, there were over 25 sites that were established and strengthened. That same year, the Semitropic Land and Water Company were developed to organize the purchase and selling of the area's real estate, water, water rights, and privileges.
