Located in the northern part of the state of California and a city in Solano County. Vacaville is bordered by Sacramento and San Francisco, making it part of the San Francisco Bay Area, but was also considered by some agencies like the city being part of the Sacramento Valley. Vacaville used to be the stop for Pony Express and has been home to numerous farming lands, which then flourished because of the city’s naturally rich soil. The city’s climate is likened to a typical Mediterranean climate that has dry, hot summers and wet, cool winters.
