Located in the state of Florida and a town in Broward County, Davie is a principal town that is part of the Miami metropolitan area. Davie is considered to be the most populous municipality but was however labeled by the state of Florida as a “town”, and wherein it is also the fourth most populous community in the whole United States next to Hempstead, New York, Gilbert, and Cary in North Carolina. Davie has always been considered and has adapted a reputation being a “Western” town since it has numerous buildings that have the “Wild West” architecture. The town boasts a significant population that owns horses and had once been home to many cattle herds. In the past, residential and commercial development has been discouraged, however, Davie still tried to maintain its “Western” vibe.
