Streamwood is located in the state of Illinois and a village in Cook County. It is in the northwestern suburb of the city of Chicago and is also a part of the Chicago metropolitan area. It makes up one of the three communities that forms part of the “Tri-Village” area, alongside the city of Bartlett and Hanover Park. The city has a thriving retail sector that is becoming popular and continues to grow over the years, which is located at the intersection of Illinois Route 59 and the Illinois Route 19 which is called the Sutton Park. Aside from the thriving retail area and of the Sutton Park Shopping Center, there are a number of stores and business in the area that includes Super Target, Marshall’s, Discovery Clothing, Wendy’s Chili’s, Taco Bell, Starbucks, Great Clips, Arby’s, and a few other local and international retail brands. Streamwood Stride is also held in the area every second weekend of June annually.
