Noblesville is located in Indiana and a city and seat of Hamilton County, which is situated in the northern part of Indianapolis, and a part of the Delaware, Fall Creek, Noblesville, and Wayne township. The area where the present-day Noblesville's history started in 1818 after the government purchased the land where the present-day Hamilton County is. The Native Americans inhabited the area, and the only settler that lived in the area was William Conner and his wife, Mekinges. The city was outlay in 1823 and was designated as Hamilton County's seat by 1824. At present, Conner's home is now considered a historic building that makes up the Conner Prairie Pioneer Settlement.
