Located in southeastern Michigan and a city in Wayne County, Livonia is situated in the western suburb part of the city of Detroit. It was founded as a township in 1834 and was then developed and cultivated to become a farming community for more than a century. It is considered to be a big suburb where arrays of traditional neighborhoods sprawled and were connected to the metropolitan areas through freeways. It experienced a rapidly planned residential and industrial growth, paving the way to various economic activities. The automobile-related industries opened and numerous local manufacturers opened and established their businesses around the city.
