Lakeville is in the state of Minnesota and a city in Dakota County, a suburb of the Minneapolis-St. Paul is situated in the southern part of both the downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul cities and known to be one of the Twin Cities' area's fastest-growing city. It resided along Interstate Highway 35 and was founded in 1910 when the Dan Patch Railroad Line was built to service Marion Savage's Antlers Amusement Park. It also came to be a milling center, and its agriculture industry is still operational up to the present.
