Chesterfield is located in the state of Missouri and a city in St. Louis County and a western suburb of St. Louis. The area where the present-day Chesterfield was inhabited by the Native Americans for thousands of years and a site on the side of the west of the city contained artwork and carvings that have dated back to 4000 years old. An area in Mississippi that dated around 1000 years old contained the remains of what was identified as a market and ceremonial center that was also found in the city Chesterfield has become an all-inclusive place for a vast region that was unincorporated which is a subregion of the western St. Louis County. The area contains several unincorporated communities.
