Located approximately 10 miles from New York City and the seat of Essex County, Newark in New Jersey has become an essential center for commerce in the northeast side of the United States. Being the United States’ third oldest city, it has become a historic spot. It has been renowned for being the most culturally affluent among the other cities in New Jersey. It became a national and international transportation center for the seaport, rail, and air connections with several public transportations available. And because of its proximity to New York City, it has been regarded as the country’s highly industrialized and populous area. Its economy is highly diversified, which includes manufacturing leather goods, electronic equipment, jewelry, rubber, furniture, and a lot more. Newark has an urban-suburban feel, and most residents are home renters. Based on the 2010 census, Newark’s residents are 52% black Americans, 34% Hispanic, 12% white, and 2% are of Asian descent.
