Beavercreek is located in the state of Ohio and a city in Greene County. The city is part of the Dayton metropolitan statistical area and is considered to be its second-largest suburb. The area of the present-day Beavercreek was settled in the early part of the 1800s and a part of the Beavercreek Township was incorporated and became the city of Beavercreek. It ranks in third place behind Dayton and Kettering in terms of residents in an incorporated area. The city has been known for its vast area for golf courses, and the majority of the residents are employed in the nearby Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. The Greene Town Center and the Mall of Fairfield Commons served as the city’s major shopping district.
