Cleveland Heights is located in the northeastern part of the state of Ohio and a city in Cuyahoga County. The city is situated in the Appalachian’s Plateau on its extreme western edge part, the area is also home to the Seneca and Erie tribes before it was eventually settled by the pioneer farmers in the 1820s. It was then developed as Cleveland’s first garden suburb at the end of the 19th century and has then been catering to the city’s elite families and personalities. Cleveland Heights remained a rural area, and when it was incorporated as a city, it was then zoned only for retail businesses, offices, and homes. Cleveland Heights has no industry, although there are a number of large corporations that established their headquarters in the city.
