Arlington is located between Dallas and Fort Worth, two of Texas’ major cities, and has become one of the rapidly growing cities in terms of economy in the United States. The city has been known for its sports attractions and outdoor recreational activities. Arlington has been home to three professional sports teams, the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, and the Dallas Wings. The city first succeeded and grew as a center for cotton farming and the grinning center. By 1910, the city boasted of its electricity, natural gas, water, and telephone services, and a public school system. And with its hot summers and mild winters, residents, visitors, and athletes fill their days with good company, food, and entertainment. By 2004, Arlington had completed its 80,000-seater stadium for the National Football League.
