Keller is located in the state of Texas and is a suburban city in Tarrant County and is part of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. The early settlers in the area established the present-day Keller and were developed when the town became a stop on the Texas and Pacific Railway. The early settlers in the area settled around the region where it is wooded because of Keller’s proximity to the Trinity River where the water supply and farmland are abundant. Keller was integrated as a city in 1955. The city is mostly residential and has an area of 300 acres of developed land area that is designated for the 11 park sites and has more than 26-mile of biking and hiking trails.
