Located in the state of Washington and a city in King County. Kirkland is a part of a suburb east of Seattle with a population of more than 89,000 making it the sixth-largest city in King County and the thirteenth of Washington’s. Kirkland is considered as a downtown waterfront with its art galleries, restaurants, public parks and recreations, and its huge collection of public art, that are primarily made of bronze sculptures. The city was the original home to the National Football League team the Seattle Seahawks. The popular warehouse chain, Costco, previously established its headquarters in Kirkland. Although the company has now established its headquarters in Issaquah, the city’s name is the namesake of the company’s signature “Kirkland Signature” store brand.
